Joe's announcement will unleash enthusiasm among young people who wanted a change at the top. They'll still need our help in getting out the vote, especially among college students who don't attend university where they permanently reside.

If we can wade our way through those potential roadblocks and other GOP voter-suppression efforts in college towns and majority-minority neighborhoods, Vice President Harris will win — by a lot.

Took me forever to get this one between the slouching and earbud noodles.

Now get off my lawn.

But yeah, the kids are looking OK to me, too.

A handful of posters were pissed the young people are not enthused with an old white man running the country and being an old person myself, I cannot understand why they have such a tough time understanding young people not wanting an old man to be their president. Why they want someone more representative toward them.

Agree or disagree with them is one thing, but to not understand is hard for me to understand, lol. Every younger person i know was dragging their feet to vote. Every young person I know is more enthusiastic. Take the emotion out of it, not that hard to understand.

Now... young people that are hard to motivate to vote has an obligation because they were given what they wanted.

BTW, haven't bought a Tshirt in a while. I want one.

that having their reproductive rights stripped away, and their voting rights under attack, and the very rule-of-law now sliced up, might be enough of a motivator.
Now i know better: They don't give a crap about that stuff, they just need to be "enthused" by a candidates demographic background.

Once again: liberals think their vote is a valentine that can only be given to their One True Love. Conservatives see their vote as a chess move, They don't have to fall in love with the shape of the Chess pieces to be motivated enough to move them in the proper direction. They Always Vote no matter what.

The young female half of the population may not go forth every day expecting they will need an abortion, but they sure do expect that contraception will be available and legal.

candidate for president. St. Ronnie the Raygun had a lot of support from young people. The young White ones liked Raygun's attacks on the progress that the civil rights movement had made. They felt entitled to jobs and degrees for themselves. They were offspring of the people who had promoted equal rights, peace, the environment, etc. They rebelled against their parents' generation and embraced the views of their grandparents.

Though sad to see Joe go in the manner he did, at eight-one I am pleased that this election will set the course by and for the younger generations that are inheriting this great democracy.

One of my local candidates got a screen printer to set up graphics for her campaign shirts. We just go to his website, order which shirt style and size we want, make payment and the shirt arrives in the mail in 3 days. That way, he doesn't have to 'eat' any unsold product.

So, even faster if shirts are made/sold locally for various things. Just set the graphics, I assume computer graphic programs make it easy, then set up the screen printer. Fast, easy, good way for people to just do it. There are also printable Iron-On transfer available.

And, oh, if you want fast DIY bumper stickers or signs, there is printable MAGNETIC paper. Search to find it online or your local office supply store. Different sized packages, some with just a few sheets, several vendors. I am seriously thinking of trying some of that. Great for local campaigns or events.
