by the most corrupt SC in history and we can be guaranteed nothing Joe does will be ruled "official."

They really have this whole thing locked up, which is why we must get rid of the filibuster and increase the court.

Just like Cannon's insistence that her ruling only impacts the one case and not others involving a special counsel.

but they never contemplated that it would apply to a black woman. I wish I could link to that epic scene in The Kingsman when they figured out that they could detonate those neck implants…du geniuses?? Any chance? In any case, suck it magats.

and I think we all know which direction this fascist court leans. My original comment was supposed to be a shade tongue in-cheek about magats not thinking their dictator power play through, I’m shocked that I haven’t seen a reply that their heads aren’t going to actually explode, Sheesh!!. President Harris won’t be a dictator when she gets sworn in but anyone who doesn’t think the court unleashed a potential dictator has their ——- head in the sand.

The Supreme Court set themselves up as the ultimate arbiter of what "official" acts are, on a case by case basis. This way they can decide anything illegal Trump does is official, and anything a illegal a Democratic president does is not.

I'll try one more time to explain it:

The immunity decision applies to criminal prosecutions. But not every unlawful action is a criminal act. Actions taken by presidents get overturned for being unconstitutional, or contrary to statutory law, or otherwise unauthorized all the time. It doesn't result in a criminal prosecution because it doesn't violate any criminal law. The courts can and will enjoin any action that a president takes that is unlawful but not criminal.

Lots of Trump's decisions were overturned or blocked by the courts while he was president. No one ever suggested he was guilty of a crime and he never suggested he was immunity from having the courts overturn or block those actions.
