'Why in the world?' Analyst sees Trump's own allies now turning against J.D. Vance pick

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/why-in-the-world-analyst-sees-trumps-own-allies-now-turning-against-jd-vance-pick/ar-BB1qugR4

Donald Trump's allies are already second-guessing his decision to name Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate.

The 39-year-old first-term senator is the least experienced major-party running mate in nearly a century, and the Trump critic-turned-Trump lieutenant adds little to the ticket – especially after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and threw his support behind his own running mate, Kamala Harris, wrote MSNBC columnist Steve Benen.

"[Vance] has no accomplishments to speak of," Benen wrote. "He has a record of extremism on key issues. He comes from a state the GOP ticket was certain to win anyway. He actually hated Trump in the recent past."

"As the public was reminded at Vance’s first solo rally since joining Trump’s team," Benen added, "the guy doesn’t exactly radiate charm and charisma, either."

I added the boldface, because it made me laugh!

That's why they paid Trump to install Vance in the first place.

A better solution would be DuhDonald dropping out the race due to being too old and cognitively impaired...

Salazar is believed to be Alfredo Ballí Treviño, the last criminal to be condemned to death in Mexico, in 1959.[5] Ballí was a surgeon and physician from an upper-class family who had murdered his colleague and boyfriend, Jesus Castillo Rangel. Ballí had held a towel soaked in chloroform over Rangel’s face, causing him to lose consciousness; Ballí then transferred the body to an adjacent bathroom where he slit Rangel’s throat and drained his body completely of blood before dismembering his corpse. Ballí is suspected of killing and dismembering several hitchhikers in the countryside during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Harris incorporated some of these details into Buffalo Bill's development as a killer in The Silence of the Lambs.[6][7][8]

Back at you, Maga World.

President Biden did something none of these people can fathom: He stepped away from power for the sake of the country.

They are befuddled, bewildered and at the moment flailing.

Our turn to hit the gas and run right over them (metaphorically, of course)

I usually love Howard's work. He's directed a lot of great movies over the years, but 'Elegy' is his worst film. The film was a huge flop when released; its budget was $45 million, but box office was only $38,852. They're reporting streaming of the movie and sales of the book have gone up considerably since Vance was picked as Trump's VP.

He sucks. He's not funny, charming, or warm.

But I'm sure the big money donors love him. Good thing, because no one else does.
