I don't know who is writing speeches for Kamala Harris or whether she is doing this largely herself, but the smackdown punchline of "Believe me, I know Donald Trump's type." is very strong. Coupled with a look that is priceless and the roar of the crowd.

Behind the straight ahead Perpetrator - Prosecutor metaphor that is played so well, doesn't this do one other thing?

In the world of sexual predation that Donald Trump is so familiar with, "she's not my type" is a line he often uses to try to disassociate from women he had been involved with. Or just to categorize them in general.

With this line, Kamala Harris basically alters the roles of predation. She is predator and he is prey.
She "knows his type".
That is the twist that is really extra delicious.

This is one savvy candidate and long may she show this to the world.

she always seemed a bit sublime (if that's the right word?) in her role as vp, but I've since come to the realization that she was just holding back. DAMN this woman is fierce.

Is she was having fun doing it. Her eyes sparkled and she smiled. Her speech slowed a bit so she could enjoy it even more.

It was, in my opinion, a masterfully planned speech, done to perfection. She smiles. She laughs. She is solemn. She is vibrant and smooth, louder and softer. All just at the right points.

I know one thing for sure, and that's all women know Trump's type. Some of us have learned from hard experience, some have observed and learned, some are learning now as they become adults, but we surely do know. As a man, as a politician, we know him and what happens when men like him have power.
