Ambivalent about shapiro

Shapiro has been a great gov in my state but I am worried about his position on school vouchers. I think public funding going to charter schools is wrong and needs to be corrected. Also he seems to support the cyber charter schools that are a total scam in our state. Thoughts?

1. It's one issue. A more important issue is keeping an authoritarian psycho out of office

Kamala is NOT pro voucher. That’s all that matters.

But the D for any office will still be infinitely better than the R. Any D can be persuaded or at least listen to my views.

Full disclosure: I don’t always agree with myself. Yes I do. No i don’t.

and cut money for charter schools.

Please provide examples of what Shapiro did, not said regarding vouchers and charter schools in Pa.

I gave 2 examples that seem to refute your thread.

My daughter has the money to send her son to private school, she did the research and chose to send her son to Hampton township, Weyland elementary, because it is the best.

Where in Pa. are you from? Do you have problems with your schools?

Hampton Township is an all white suburb. Private school vouchers is an urban issue, a smoke screen for white flight segregation. Vouchers is a very different matter in your daughter's community than for PA's biggest communities

Now live in bucks. Charter schools don't affect me, I live in a good school district, but i have friends that are teachers in Philly that need all the funding they can get. I know he says that funds aren't being taken from public schools, but at the same time there's no accountability for charter schools and cyber schools are a blatant scam. There's dark money in this state that's propping up these charters.

School vouchers are not a big issue for me. There is no one size fits all for education.
