Nice guy. Not warm and cheery, but had a genial businesslike manner. He made his pitch for Barack Obama and then answered questions from the audience. I asked him, as a veteran myself, if he was ever going to go after those Swiftboat slugs who torpedoed his campaign in 2004. He gave a political, but appropriate answer: his focus was on getting Obama elected.
