Well, okay! I'll compromise. I'll vote once per election, not 10 times like I usually do.
Go Kamala!
Remember, if he loses, he goes down the tubes. By 2028, he'll be in a nursing home and have thousands of lawsuits and state criminal charges to face. And if we get rid of the two worst criminals in SCOTUS, she can appoint enough justices (with a positive senate) to bring the Court back to its senses.
But the cat has to go before she takes office.

(9,148 posts)Cats are the absolute best. I don't know why cat haters always feel the need to proclaim that they hate an entire species of animals, who vary considerably and each have their own personalities. I would never in a million years think to say: "I hate dogs!" even though I've had some bad experiences with canines and don't particularly care to have one, ever.

(130,526 posts)seems peculiarly eager to proclaim their dislike aggressively. Just mention cats and somebody announces that they hate them. It's kind of like when someone says they're a vegetarian and someone gets all belligerent about how nobody's going to take their steaks away from them (although vegans can get pretty intense, too). Don't like cats? They probably don't like you, and if a cat doesn't like you that's a pretty good sign I won't either.

(9,148 posts)A lot of this bullshit is tied up in misogyny and toxic masculinity. Insecure males with control issues and fragile egos in need of stroking often get enraged that cats don't obey them. And how dare anyone imply that red meat is not the best choice of all by simply refraining from eating it?! How incredibly insulting to their sense of manliness!

I think a lot of it, like with dogs, is on the owner.

(9,148 posts)They're used to obsequious dogs, that they can "bark" orders at and have them obey. Cats communicate and respond to a very different set of signals.

(4,728 posts)With any pet, it's a give and take. They train us, we train them, and personality rubs off.
