I thought that once the running mate is selected and announced, that's it ... discussion ends. But Rick Wilson is hinting that the Repukes might actually consider a different choice and dump Vance.

Not that any of this matters. Whoever Chump's running mate might be, it's a losing ticket. Even if they dig up Ronald Reagan and prop him up on a chair like Weekend at Bernie's, it's not going to matter. Chump will lose because he's the worst candidate there ever was. He was the worst president ever in our history, and he will never set foot back in our White House again.

Chump can't blame his upcoming loss on anyone but himself.

13. The "Biden is too old" theme was intended to take everyone's attention

off of Trump's age and decline. Classic MAGA projection which no longer works.

Bragging about indictments and convictions no longer works against a prosecutor as his opponent.

One of the dumbest decisions for a campaign was when Trump removed experienced party workers to replace them with his own family and with absolute loyalists. He assumed that he had the election in his hands and could do with the campaign and party what he plans to do with the nation - take total control through placements of loyalists regardless of their ability or lack of it.

The only thing they have now, which we need to be ready to defeat, is the litigation chaos around the election itself. They will flood the courts with claims and suits to obscure the winners in the state and federal elections - a typical Trump tactic for delay and confusion. In the chaos, MAGAs will proclaim themselves the winners.

One concern of mine is that, as Dems gain support throughout the campaign at state and federal levels, MAGAs will get anxious enough to resort to violence and threats as intimidation.
