This clip popped up on my YouTube feed, when she was presiding over the Senate and sparring with Cornyn over police reform. I have to say, I like the sound of it.

If there's one thing Texans know, it's brisket. The Holy Grail of barbecue.

So when Texas senator John Cornyn posted a picture of his family's Christmas Eve brisket on Twitter, people had... opinions.

This is brisket gone bad. It's like the opposite end of the spectrum from that one viral Brooklyn barbecue plate.

Cornyn's brisket looks like a "Criminal Minds" corpse that decomposed in a particularly disgusting swamp. Or dried ketchup on weather-worn shingles. Or Hollywood gore from a B movie VCR tape. It looks like meatloaf.
