I saw this on an ATM this weekend!

Last edited Mon Jul 29, 2024, 07:55 PM - Edit history (1)

GoneOffShore was kind enough to post the text from the flyer on post 15.
Here it is...

BAD FOR YOUR BANK ACCOUNT!!
Project 2025 will:
* ELIMINATE the FDIC (which means your money is no longer insured or protected) - pg. 839
* Give HUGE tax breaks to the ultrawealthy & large corporations, at the EXPENSE OF THE WORKING CLASS (which will cost your family $2600
MORE/year than what you pay in taxes now) - pg. 696
* Change the 40-hour work week to a 160-hour work month (which means your employer can force you to work extra hours with NO OVERTIME PAY) - Pg. 592
* ELIMINATE veterans benefits - Pg. 644
A REPUBLICAN VOTE IS A VOTE FOR THIS FINANCIAL
NIGHTMARE.
The ONLY WAY to avoid this is to
VOTE DEMOCRAT!
The Reagan/Bush era Republican Party is gone: replaced by fascist Trumpism. This election is no longer about politics it's about protecting YOUR bottom line!

Smart of them to post a flyer about how it will affect our money at a bank!
It probably lasted until the first MAGAt saw it.

It's a flyer somebody taped to an ATM warning about how Project 2025 will affect our money. At the top it says "Bad for your bank account!! Project 2025 will:" Then it lists ways our money will be affected and says to vote Democrat!

allowing the cost of credit and banking to skyrocket. Junk fees out the wazoo. Credit card interest rates to the moon. Reduced minimum payments to accrue more interest and longer repayment periods. Credit card tricks and bamboozlement with NO recourse. Probably more as well that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau guards us against.

I eliminated some of the spelling anomalies and did a little bit of formatting. The link does lead to the Republican cesspit that is Project 2025, so tread carefully.
I'll be putting this on Facebook and using it on some trolls.

Some competitions are taking place in Marseille, with the airport halfway between where I live and there.

I saw an infantry team of Armée de terre (literally - Army of Land) Operation Vigipirate (anti-terrorist patrol) walking through Aix-en-Provence this morning while I was having coffee. We been seeing them a lot recently. Usually 7 with automatic weapons.

Even with the music festival, which just finished, and has a lot of visitors, it wasn't bad.

So that's partly how the convicted felon wants to "fix" it (he'll just "sign" the Executive Orders as "official acts" and go golfing daily).

A chapter about eliminating the VOTE every four years (like FOREVER) by Executive Order signed as an "official act" is probably kept secret.
