He was interviewed by Jon Stewart and said that he was, of course, childless during his military service but certainly had high stake in the future of the country.

Edit: My eldest cousin was correct when he told me a half century ago that he wasn't going to have children because he didn't want to make servants for rich people.

(60,968 posts)Pete and his husband have 2 kids, Harris 2 step kids, and AOC is now 34 with plenty of time to marry and have kids.
Not to mention, deciding not to have kids is a choice, a very personal choice that should not be made by others. (Consider if authoritarian forces made the choice, would they choose to let the son of an addict, with 2 violent grandparents, one also alcoholic, procreate?)
