It wasn't the first time repubs blocked immigration reform in the last 10 years.

They campaign on how fucked up "the border" is, but kill any legislation proposed to fix things.

They cut taxes while there's already a huge budget deficit, compounding the dollar count we add to the national debt each year. And then they run campaigns saying "spending is out of control" cause of how bigly the budget deficit is growing and demanding that we cut services or Social Security pensions.
