Everyone please get this phone number on auto before you go vote:

(202) 514-3847

This number connects to the DOJ civil rights division that handles real time reports of voter intimidation & other form of suppression. If you don’t think the wingnuts will fuck with you at the polls, think again.

Corrupt low-level Republican thugs fear federal attention. There are plenty of Jan. 6 thugs who did time who have definitely spread he word.

Also, the way bureaucracy works is that it is usually not fast.

The best way to avoid issues is first make sure your registration is up to date, and do this NOW while there is time to correct any errors. If you can vote early, DO IT. If you can vote by mail, DO IT.

Then follow up to make sure your vote was received and counted.

For those whose states do not allow early voting, and vote by mail, assume the worst, and don't plan anything else on that day. get to the polls early in the day, bring any proper identification you need to identify yourself, and of course if you are hassled or prevented from voting report it as the OP said.

Here are the ACLU recommendations:

All states should do 100 percent VBM, in my opinion.
