She is also criticizing the organization for not accommodating Kamala who had to be at a funeral today. April Ryan agreed with everything.

Joy also said she was saying all this publicly because she doesn't believe in saying things behind peoples' backs

...but she's gets what these types of appearances are about, and the majority of those who would vote for Trump aren't bothered by his racism. The thing for them is he went into the lion's den and look how he got treated. He would have loved to have gotten royally booed and heckled, but most of the audience was smart enough to not accommodate him. And the better thing would be to not let this take the oxygen out of the Harris rise.

You are right however that this is going to play badly with independents and disaffected Republicans, probably solidifying their abandonment of Trump and totally pushing them off the fence.
