Incredibly moving

President Biden @POTUS 2h
Today, I stood beside the families of Paul, Evan, Alsu, and Vladimir in the Oval Office as they spoke to their loved ones for the first time since they regained freedom.

These families never lost hope.

And today, they'll each be reunited with the missing piece of their soul.

Obama did some really good things, but his best gift was giving us Joe Biden who is uniquely qualified to be president. Biden in turn gave us Kamala Harris who is going to be a wonderful president. Like Mz. Lindsay Graham said, "If you don't like Joe Biden there is something wrong with you."

(and I've been around a few decades.)

In that first pic I couldn't help but notice what a lovely, gracious man Joe Biden is. It is tragic that he isn't going to get another term, but I think VP Harris will be fantastic, too.

This guaranteed his legacy more than another term. He waited until after the RNC convention, on a Sunday!, and then waited 20 more minutes before his endorsement of VP Harris. After all the merch had been ordered and speeches written and strategy devised. Sheer genius! And all the while - dealing with Covid and so much more - he continued to do great things with his presidency.

Tremendous! THIS is real three - or four - dimensional chess.

...can't remember which, saying the Democrats are not the party of strength or national security, and they are CERTAINLY NOT the party of families.

Just another in a long string of lies, regardless of the evidence to the contrary. Fucking bastards.

I love both pics, but the second one is my favorite. Look at how one of the family members is cradling Joe's hand in both of hers as he speaks. You can just feel what a deep connection these families have with him. He is THE BEST.

Maybe that's what you get when you pick a candidate with years of powerful, credible, relevant, and unmatched experience on and around the seats of power.

History will be mighty kind to you, Joe. As it should be. And you've earned it. And you deserve it.

On or around the 4th he signed an order cleaning up the records of all military personnel
who were dismissed for being gay, he has people working on restoring the rivers of the
Pacific Northwest by removing dams and letting the rivers run free to the oceans (this
huge and an environmental and ecological game changer), he had COVID but during that
time he put the country ahead of himself in what now looks like a very smooth move that
will give us a President who is smart, black, and a woman, 3 days later in some executive
action he or his people spoke of ecological restoration (this is huge), and then he brought
the families of the Americans held hostage in Russia into the Oval Office so they could hear
from their loved ones as they are flown home. He also has helped to bring about this Nation
having the best economy in the world, unemployment @ a 70 + year low, inflation is way down,
the market is doing great, and he is as fine of a President this country could ever have. And he
told Kamala that he loved her and Doug, that I’ll be watching you kid, and that to Jill and himself
he considered her family.

You've summed President Biden's accomplishments up in such a meaningful way. He has exceeded all of our expectations in his time in office. That man is a one in a million and I'm so glad we had him to right our ship of state when it so desperately needed it.

… he was going to hire that had to have scientific or technical backgrounds. Time after time
without Joe taking any credit @ all for anybody who wanted to see that the “science people”
he had brought aboard making the right moves.

Joe also saved this too. The Copper River and Bristol Bay Alaska along with its salmon.

He stands head and shoulders above all the rest of ‘em since FDR. And I was pretty happy with the various Democrats who won the White House. But I think Joe Biden tops ‘em all.
