Shapiro

Love Shapiro, he’s my governor. It’s true he might (might!) cost Harris some pro-Palestinian votes. But why would a pro-Palestinian or Muslim voter allow another TSF presidency? He supposedly wants to bomb Gaza and his SIL is eager to begin building there. He doesn’t appear to like the Muslim population here or anywhere. I think that being pro-Palestine does not automatically mean being anti-Semitic just as being pro-Israel doesn’t mean you don’t support a two state solution.
That being said, I do like Kelly, too, for VP. He’s got an awful lot going for him - southern border state Senator, military, astronaut, etc. Walz is unfamiliar to me but the more I see, the more I like him, too. We are so lucky to have so many wonderful choices!

1. I also like him. But some the ticket of a black woman POTUS and a Jewish VP might be hard for them to deal with.

3. Wouldn't such people be unlikely to vote for Harris anyway, no matter who her running mate is?

underestimating the intelligence of the American electorate"

(too lazy to look up the exact quote but you know the one to which I refer)

I saw an AMAZING amount of idiocy in 2016, from people who had zero self-interest in voting against Clinton. Yet vote against her they did.

A key reason I remember from 2016 is the massive disinformation efforts that painted Clinton in such a negative light to these folks, they felt as a matter of conscience that they couldn't vote for her. Which to you and me seems ridiculous, because they thus enabled someone worse. But the reality is, it is a war against disinformation and manipulation, and we will lose some of the battles. We need the candidate who gives us the best chance to win enough of the battles (in the right states, thanks to the electoral college); and least risk to overwhelmingly lose important battles with key constituencies.

I don't envy Harris being faced with this decision - there is no way she will have ALL salient information to her choice, and a wrong choice will forever haunt her.

I have my favorites and concerns, but I will support whoever Harris chooses.

Think. Again.

If you feel hated by both sides, not much reason to vote for either.
You have to remember that many Palestinian Americans have had family members die in Gaza and more know a family that has lost people in Gaza.
For Muslim Americans in general they see both parties assisting in the Gaza war crimes against Muslims. So effectively there is no choice.

We need to impress upon disenfranchised voters that not voting at all is still a vote for drumpf. It’s ALWAYS the lesser of two evils for many because there is no perfect candidate. Obviously the lesser of two evils is LESSER!
So don’t skip voting! We get what we want in increments. But allowing the greater of two “evils” to win will certainly take away your goals and gains quickly!

The difference may be small to some- but there IS a difference. This is what we need to be made clear to those who vacillate on an issue.
