When "Weird" stops working, we can use "Dorky" to keep it going!

Calling TSF a Fourth Grader will be a good one too! (there was an article today that compared the first 30,000 words of presidents, and used AI to 'grade' the speeches. Trump was a 4th Grader (the lowest!! Hoover was highest, and Carter 2nd. Obama was up there too)

But now... I just read an article with a quote from JD's wife: "I think I want them to know that he's a real person," Usha Vance said. "He has all sorts of dorky interests that anyone of our age could relate to."

Hahahaha.... OK, JD is Dorky, and TSF a Fourth Grader.

It will Drive them Nutz!!!

Edit: Adding Link to the 'dorky' quote:

Because the policies they're promoting, the things they're saying and the laws they're promising to pass regarding women are very creepy.
Would work for the LGBTQIA+ community as well.

Dork, on the other hand... hey, I'm a Star Trek/Star Wars loving retired software engineer. I embrace dorkdom!

‘Dorky’ is much milder due to its common usage as an almost ‘affectionate’ term - even mildly self-deprecating in the way Ms. Vance used it. Some may take great offense at being called dorky, but it falls in a category with ‘geek’ or ‘nerd’, and there aren’t many folk biting the heads off live chickens for a living anymore, so I hope I didn’t offend.

It’s describing. It’s taking it to them without descending to their level.

Dork. Nerd. Those are name calling, but they can also be compliments. Computer nerd. Math nerd. Means you are knowledgeable. Weird is never a compliment, unless it’s qualified. Weird but cute. Weird but nice. And lots of things can be weird, not just people. It’s so versatile!

Creepy is descriptive, but it lacks the fun edge of weird that makes people want to be in the not-weird in crowd.

All in all, I really like weird. Does that make me weird? (Is my thinking outside the mainstream in a way that repulses people or just makes them cringe?)

... I know, 3 consonants, it might be too much for a fourth grader reader.

The perfect word for TSF is cockwomble, again, 3 consonants, and it is more a UK term, but has made it to the Urban Dictonary: US Trumpsters (who do speak English) might not get it.

Cockwomble

(noun) A person, usually male, prone to making outrageously stupid statements and/or inappropriate behaviour while generally having a very high opinion of their own wisdom and importance.

synonyms: fuckwit, shit-for-brains
