I expressly said that we need to get super-majorities in Congress. Sitting this election out doesn't achieve that.

Been on here less than five minutes and see "swift boating," "anti-Semetic," "CNN" doom and gloom all over the top of the page.

I missed your OP but I'm still optimistic, 15 ish hours later.

Since I only deleted the text instead of using the self-delete function, my edit history should still be there.

Harris herself said last night she is the underdog. You think you know more than she does?

If magats rig the election in ga or some other state, we need to have enough states in the bag to win without them.

We need 400 EV's effectively to get around states that may not certify.

Its ugly, but we have to just overwhelm them.

With the electoral college being the sole determining factor, until or unless the swing states are out of reach for Trump, this is still very much a race.

As for supermajorities, there aren't enough open competitive seats in the Senate this cycle. We need to win every one of ours just to have a chance at keeping a majority.

Fine. Nobody wants (me) to get pumped and think big (but it's OK for others, it seems)? I'll delete.

Declaring the race over three months out, however, is misguided.

Complacency and overconfidence, in part, cost us 2016. Let's not repeat that.

That’s like a pitcher talking about throwing a no hitter while it’s only the 5th inning.

Let’s not jinx ourselves.
