He clearly wants to be out in front of huge crowds. That is his opium. He lives for the adulation.

But the sting he felt in atlanta, where he couldnt fill 2/3 of the seats kamala filled just a few days before, hit him hard. The entire upper level at trumps event was empty. The tv cameras carefully avoided that, but phone cameras clearly showed it.

Sure, he has chicanery at play, but he still loves campaign stops in front of crowds. It strokes his ego. Except when people dont show up or leave early. He isnt the showman he wants the world to believe he is.

that he is so far off the rails now with Biden out and Harris in, and not knowing how to deal with it (did you see his post practically pleading with Biden to come back?) that his handlers have decided to keep him out of the public eye till he quits spiraling.
