This is one of the central things Trump learned from Cohn: Accuse your opponent of doing what YOU are doing.

IN REALITY...if Trump were a "serious" candidate, he would have been out their burning up the landscape seconds after Harris announced. He also would have sidelined Vance and had him in a much more low-profile role. The stunt where Vance "stormed" Harris' empty plane was just creepy stalker behavior.

I think Trump MAY BE still living out a little of the fantasy from that headline in The Atlantic, that he's going to 'win in a landslide."

The reality is that he lost the news cycle. One minute, all of the headlines were about his tiny scratch on the ear. Then, all of a sudden, they were all about Harris, with no shortage of footage showing the capacity crowds she was pulling in.

Somehow, he thinks an "address" at Mar-a-Lago today is a winning strategy. We'll see what today's stunt is, and how many networks give him free, uninterrupted air time.

handlers keeping him off the campaign trail so to minimize his exposure to and scrutiny by the public and MSM/cable news oultlets.

Too many 'shark/battery/Hannibal/acid/shock' blatherings on the trail could sink him. Better to keep el lardo happy on the golf course with once a week rallies.
