Baby donkey on the brink of death after being brutally tortured by children

Imagine being a terrified baby donkey, ripped away from your mother's side and dumped alone in a field of stones and sand in scorching heat, only to be mercilessly beaten by children and left to die.

This is exactly what happened to Sunday, an abandoned, four-month-old donkey foal who was found at death's door in the West Bank, just north of Jerusalem.

Cold-hearted children spent hours abusing this donkey foal, mercilessly attacking him until he was nearly dead.

[snip]

This tragic little soul was discovered by a 12-year-old girl who saw the children torture him to the point of collapse.
She bravely chased them away and tried to help the animal herself, but Sunday was so badly injured that he could not stand up.
Judging from his wounds, his abusers had tormented him for hours on end.

Perhaps it is to show how children learn from their elders or react to being under constant threat. Hermit-The-Prog Aug 2024 #8
The point is that an innocent baby donkey was tortured for hours by a group of evil children, red dog 1 Aug 2024 #9

If I had posted it in the "Vegetarian, Vegan and Animal Rights" forum, would you have even seen it?

Children torturing a helpless baby donkey is a truly horrific story; and I did not want it "buried" in that forum, which very few people ever see.

Should I have posted it in "Editorials & Other Articles"?
[I could have posted it there, no?]

and a 12-year-old child bravely chased away the other children and saved the poor donkey's life.

Isn't this is a "news story"!

Isn't this is an "issue"!

Also, It's an article from just yesterday, so wouldn't that qualify it as "current events"?

GENERAL DISCUSSION - (About Forum)
"Discuss politics, issues, and current events. Posts about Israel/Palestine, Religion, Guns, Showbiz or Sports are restricted in this forum."

(btw, this isn't an "Israel/Palestine" post just because the location was the West Bank...It just happened to have occurred there)

I'll ask you the same question I asked the Reply # 1 DUer:
Where do you want to see it?
Or "Where do you think I should have posted it?"
(I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I'm just trying to find out for future reference - because I'm an animal lover & I hate to see anyone get away with deliberate animal cruelty, regardless of the country where it occurred)
