Good! He's losing his base!
Update: Tim Pool still voting for Trump

(28,836 posts)He endorsed RFK Jr., from what I understand. He's also refused to host Trump on his podcast the last few years.
Rogan is a hack, and I'm not sure he actually has any convictions, and he follows the wind where it blows. He's the JD Vance of podcasts.

I know a LOT of white males who take their lead from him.

(28,836 posts)Highest number of views in the world, as I recall, which probably explains why seemingly half the country is fucked in the head.

(108,783 posts)Though I think since Dana White is a massive Trumpster, that relationship may be on the edge after that. But really, fuck both of them.
I get it, not in sense that I see anything in him myself, but I can see his demographic pretty clearly (white males).

(36,792 posts)Many more high profile Republicans will announce that they can't support dumpy anymore.

(2,740 posts)That by the end of August, Trump will have a "medical condition" and the GOP will kick and scream that since the Democrats got to replace Biden, they get to replace Trump and Haley will be the nominee. He was more certain of it this morning. Even says "Haley vs Harris is a much better media story(will the first female President be R or D ?), and when they realize it, that's what they will push for". It wouldn't surprise me.

(2,950 posts)It's not going to happen, and, in this case, he has already accepted the nomination.
ScratchCat
(2,740 posts)That if Ivanka could convince him a)he's not going to win and b)his only guarantee to stay out of prison is to drop out and support Haley (who has already said she would pardon him) - he would drop out. That's why they will go with "medical issue" so its not like its because he is going to lose.
And I know he has accepted the nomination. But do the last eight years make you think Republicans care about rules and procedure? Of course they don't. They will say dropping Trump now is no different than Democrats dropping Biden before the DNC and everybody will go along with it including the media, courts and Democrats.
And I know there are Trump supporters who don't like Haley. He'll tell them to vote for her; they'll listen.
democratsruletheday
(1,880 posts)he might drop out but ya know what? If he does a HUGE majority of maga(t) won't vote for Haley. Even if he endorses her they won't vote for her IMHO. Time will tell, wonder who Haley's VP would be? Doubt Vance would make her cut. He's a train wreck too.
The more I think about this folks the more I believe that the next 2 weeks could result in Vance getting dropped. It's ALWAYS someone else's fault with Trumpler. Vance could be the scapegoat. Who would he get to replace him? No clue.

Either way, as long as he breathes air, he wouldn't step away from it.

Im glad these two cretins see Trump as a loser. Maybe other bandwagon voters will drop out.

(24,210 posts)Bernie did Joe's long form show a few years ago and it was great. Joe has a giant audience, if I were the Harris-Walz campaign I would consider sending Walz to do an hour with Rogan. His common sense talk will easily win Joe and his audience over. Joe is trans phobic and weird, but he holds a huge amount of sway over a segment of voters that Walz was brought on to win over. Joe is easily lead and impressionable, Walz could cursh it on his show and it would be smart to consider doing IMO.
