Per MSNBC TV: Trump plans to sue DOJ over Mar-a-lago raid

Trump plans to sue DOJ for $100M over Mar-a-Lago raid: report

"Fresh from peddling conspiracy theories about Vice President Kamala Harris using artificial intelligence to create fake photos of large crowds at her rallies, former President Donald Trump has now come up with a new gambit: suing the United States Department of Justice.

Fox News reports that Trump is planning to sue the DOJ for $100 million for executing a search warrant at his Mar-a-Lago resort to retrieve top-secret government documents he had stored there and had allegedly refused to return even after receiving a subpoena for them.

According to Fox News, Trump's lawyers will argue that the DOJ was engaged in a "clear intent to engage in political persecution" when it searched his property, despite the fact that it had obtained a search warrant from a judge authorizing the search."

In doing so, too much would be released to the public. It would get incredibly nasty for him.

The old MAGATS are dying off and being replaced by younger and more diverse voters, most of whom will vote D for the next 40 years.

1) to avoid a search and
2) to avoid publicity when the search was executed
TFG didn’t return the people’s property despite multiple requests and TFG is the one who posted on social media that Mar a Lago was being searched.

That is the most stretched concept I've ever read.

If there were no laws about classified documents he might have a point. It would all be politics. But you know, the legal code has a way of making certain actions illegal.

The National Archives were missing documents and HE had them. The FBI goes to Court to ask for warrants on the basis that a crime was committed, for which Orange asshole was indicted for on numerous counts.

What case does CF#45 have other than his campaign is BROKE??

CF#45 wants ATTENTION. Thinking a lawsuit against the DOJ is going to do it? More money wasted on Lawyers that will not go to down ballot candidates. SMART move, asshole!

To the country from his reckless release and handling of our secrets. The damage was well over 100 million no doubt.
