Didn't expect to be this close to a MAGAt rally.

We had business in Asheville, NC, today. Had some trouble parking at the garage where we can usually find a spot on the first level. Turns out there’s a Trump rally here.

Asheville is pretty much a blue dot, so some of the locals expressed their dismay. Apparently people are coming from red outlying areas. We were told he had to pay cash up front for the venue. Good move on that point, Asheville! I saw women with Trump T-shirts and flag outfits (which has always struck me as disrespectful), bumper stickers, the works. I didn’t bother to find out exactly where they were going.

We live in very red TN, but no one ever bothers to come to our immediate are and I have recently seen very few bumper stickers. Somehow I found being in Asheville today more shocking and upsetting. Maybe it’s because we’ve long seen it as our relatively safe haven that is now being polluted by the orange shitgibbon and his mindless minions.

I continue to ask myself and anyone who will listen: How can so many people be supporting this degenerate piece of shit scumbag? How can women of any color be supporting him? Doesn’t it matter to them that he’s a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist, women especially? WTAF! It’s disheartening, to say the least

Glad we’re on our way home so at least we don’t have to see the mind numbing stupidity quite so up-close. I’ll soothe myself with Kamala news and videos once we get home. Maybe pull a few weeds and name them all after MAGAt sycophants.

Count to 10 (nay, count to 20), make yourselves a nice drink or meal, and kick back, enjoy yourselves. When you are pulling weeds, just imagine pulling one of the maga supporters up by the roots, you might feel a little better, ha ha heh!

Hope you didn't get exposed to anything negative from these trump idiots.

Shocked if they plan on being there all day and whenever the hell he shows up. Asheville parking is different from Tractor Pulls in a field. Lots of Decks but very low ceilings and made for average size vehicles .
Most have no attendants, especially at night and scanning cards can be confusing. No cash allowed.
So those big ass jacked up MAGA trucks, and the height of ALL the varieties of flags will not fit under the low ceilings and smaller parking sites.
And it is expensive. Should be good entertainment to sit at exits and laugh as they try to get the hell outta there, and realize the bill is $30 plus dollars.
But stay out of the line of gun fire.

There are also a lot more blue "freckles" through the western mountains than people think. My thoughts on this...

that particular group of people who are more invested in what they hate than in what they love.

My guess an inner voice is saying 'cheat me, abuse me, grab me, bankrupt me, whatever. As long as you hate the things I do and in doing so, validate my hatred, you have my support.'

I just wonder if they'll start wearing orange jumpsuits in solidarity with that sack of pus when he finally goes to prison.

I'd really love to see that. Most people look like hell in orange.

a description of this "gentleman" from wiki - "Robinson has promoted various far-right conspiracy theories, engaged in Holocaust denial, denied sexual assault allegations against various prominent figures, and has often made inflammatory anti-LGBT, antisemitic, racist, anti-atheist, and Islamophobic statements. He opined in 2023 that abortion should be completely outlawed in North Carolina, despite him paying for an abortion in the 1980s.

He and Trump must get along well.

How can so many people be supporting this degenerate piece of shit scumbag?

Because they, too are degenerate POS scumbags.

How can women of any color be supporting him?

Because they enjoy his hate and seriously think he doesn't mean them when he's attacking women and people of color.

Doesn’t it matter to them that he’s a convicted felon and adjudicated rapist, women especially?

You're kidding, right? They don't believe rape exists, and they think his convictions are political persecution. They think he's a martyr for them and all the hate and cruelty they hold dear.
