If just one district, or county, or state, creates a situation where their vote tally is in question legally, that could bring the entire nation-wide tally to a halt, just like in 2000. And they're going to try that in virtually every district, county, and state.

(22,456 posts)...I believe that's the goal of the pro-bono, volunteer, civilian groups of lawyers who are studying and preparing for the election crimes the rightwing are planning to commit.
If we can only get the the department of justice to cover their responsibilities in preventing crimes, we might be ok.
All they need is enough chaos to throw it to the Extreme Court.
Time for Joe to push for pressure on them. What does he have to lose? Shoulda done it years ago.

The bad news is that they will go to ANY measure, legal or otherwise, to prevent that, and that threat is apparently not being taken seriously enough.

(9,545 posts)the election is theirs. The fact that they are not trying one bit to appeal to undecideds says everything. They are counting on the Supreme Court to settle the issue.
The one upside about the GOP is that they can't help themselves overstepping. Unwarranted confidence has always been their Achilles Heal.
