PS — I was born in Bryan, but left a year later.

Came back to live in Austin for a bit — but now I’m home in California. Both my liberal aunts live in Houston, though. They’re so cool.

talk about viewership ratings for each day. With the low numbers watched for the RNC, there will be numbers to compare with.

Is it smart to have Joe go on at 10 pm ET?

I am over 70 and tend to fade in the late evening.

Wasn't that one of the excuses for the debate?

The man is on 24/7, it's the job and it's his for another 5 months. If you're worried about him getting dinner by 5 and in bed by 8 you're worried about the wrong man and you must think he should resign. He's going to be going through more time zones in the next 60 days just helping the VP plus I am sure he's got at least one more overseas trip planned. He'll let you know when the damn sun goes down. I hate this shit dammit.

Hopefully it's a smooth speech from Joe! For Kamala and Joe's sake.

Damn impressive "line-up!" Labor and Unions are certainly getting some top spots tonight -- AFSCME, SEIU, LiUNA, IBEW, CWA, and Shawn Fain, President of the United Automobile Workers, gets his own speaking spot. Looks like they are going to address the Fascist Project 2025 every night of the Convention starting with the "Introduction" to Project 2025 tonight. Good move, Democrats -- cram that Fascist blueprint down the Turd's and the Republican Nazi Party's collective throats. Force those Nazi fucks to have to deny their evil Fascist plans every single day between now and the election!

27. WAIT. 34 SPEAKERS IN FIVE HOURS?
Mon Aug 19, 2024, 04:58 PM
Aug 2024

That's counting "joint speakers."

Even so, If they leave President Biden 15-20 minutes to speak at the end, that's only 8 minutes each, given a video or two; or more realistically, 5 minutes, unless speakers are announced over the PA system. Still, even if convention hosts speak only at the beginning and end, that's an unbelievably packed schedule.
