But I remember the media making a big deal of it. Funny thing is, I grew up in the Philadelphia area and recently moved back, and I barely understand the kerfuffle because I hate cheese steak.

So-called Swiss Cheese turns a Philly Cheesesteak into a Sorryass Soggy Tube of Mucus.

Meat, provolone and onions make a Philly cheesesteak.
Now, I don't actually mind peppers on a cheesesteak but it's not a Philly that way

If you ever had, 40 years ago, a great cheese steak with provolone from Charlies Water Wheel Restaurant on Samson Street in Philadelphia (much better meat too than at Pats), you'd know that was the best.

Depends on which neighborhood you come from, from what I've been told by a roommate who used my big cast iron skillet to make them.

Grill the thinly sliced steak and onions together, when the onions start to caramelize, put three slices of provolone cheese over the meat and put the sliced lengthwise bread roll on the grill to toast next to the meat and onions.
Once the cheese has melted, scoop it on the bread roll and serve.
For the whiz, you don't put the cheez on, but set the roll next to the meat and onions to toast for about 2/3 minutes, scoop it into the bread, and while it's still open, slather it with the cheez until you can barely see the meat, then squish it closed.

I prefer the provolone. She said that's okay, more whiz for me....

He won Florida. All the five black robbed SCOTUS traitors did when the stopped the counting was to render the election incomplete, and therefore unlawful under Florida law. If we had a functional Congress that actually carried out its duty to judge the electors, Florida would have been tossed out.

But yes, a big no no to American Cheese!

Even me, a foreign born, brown-skinned lad knew not to do that! I wouldn't be surprised if the staff gave him a dressing down for that.
