that a "stemwinder" referred to a long and boring speech which would cause the gentlemen in the audience to take out their pocket watches and wind them to be sure that time had not stopped.

But I could well be wrong.

Sarandon, Turner, West, Moore, Stein, Brianna... and all the folks who kneecapped her... and all the folks who were too lazy to speak out and do anything about it... or to give their support... fuck them all very much! It could have been a glorious eight years, and an entirely different Supreme Court.

What might have been. What that would have said, and meant, to our daughters, sisters, nieces, granddaughters... What that would have said, and meant, to the entire world...

It STILL pisses me off. We were ROBBED.

America was ROBBED.

Women all over the planet were ROBBED.

She gave speeches? Untrustworthy? Unlikeable? The list of BS that people lusted to hate her for is very very long and very very stupid.

Tonight was a classic Hillary speech. She hasn't changed.

... on the b.s. reasons excuses people had for not voting for her.

Truth be told, I think there were a lot of people who just didn't like her for some reason or other but didn't want to come out and say that. Instead, they found fault with anything they could latch on to and used those things for excuses.

What shocked me was how many of those people were purported Democrats. I knew she was greatly disliked by the rw, but I assumed Democrats would stand by the candidate the party had chosen when it was all said and done. Guess. Again.

My "favorite" insult at the time was being accused of voting with my vagina because I thought electing a woman president was important.(No, morons, it's not about anatomy; it's about life experience, and about the fact that the choice between an extremely smart, highly qualified woman and an orange buffoon should be a no brainer! )

That election cycle was a strange one.

We wouldn’t have a realistic chance to have a woman President today, if Hillary hadn’t paved the way eight years ago.

And let’s NEVER EVER forget: SHE GOT MORE VOTES!!!!
