PBS coverage blows

What a disappointment. Chose to blather instead of showing Jasmine Crockett and Raphael Warnock.
Instead we got David Brooks poo pooing this convention.
Might make me rethink the size of my donations.

And had the tv tuned to MSNBC with audio off and clos captions on.

I didn't want to hear talking heads. I listened to all the speakers. Really great to hear them. Best convention in my 7 decades.

...they must have had many cameras all over the arena. When a video showed, they went full-screen.

Didn't turn on MSNBC, Fox or CNN at all.

And the bigger donors tend to have more money.

Guess which political party that represents?

Perfect. No talking heads. No commercials. Every single speaker.

Tonight's session will be on You Tube tomorrow and probably for years to come.

That money now goes directly to Democratic campaigns, mostly here in Wisconsin.

They actually were showing the speakers. Even the women speaking about their abortion experiences on night 1.
Watched abc again night 2, though I did switch back to pbs for their end summary. Saw they were all pretty much in awe of the Obamas. Even David Brookes.

Barbara Haggerty spent day after day trashing Kerry. Haggerty was also an infamous propagandist for some evangelical hate cult who never missed a chance to hate on liberals and atheists.

Not no but hell no would I ever give them another dime after that.

I watched it on Amazon prime and it was great. It was just the convention. No commentary.

I pretty sure that Brooks is supposed to be giving his opinion from the Republican or at least conservative perspective. I think you expect too much from him if you're looking for a Democratic cheerleader. If I were a Republican I would generally be disappointed in Brooks' perspective from the conservative point of view.
