(60,186 posts)A wise move, I think. The Republicans would have claimed that the family was ashamed of him if he had not been there, and they are now deprived of that nasty little dig. It's exactly the kind of thing the Fox Noise lowlifes look for to play up.

(60,186 posts)Republicans cheering Trump would have done so in anticipation of the meanness he would dole out once back in office. Democrats cheered Biden for all the good he has done and his good intentions, and it showed.
Don't look for any Republican envy, though. They don't understand that Joe Biden has done anything they should envy. I really believe they are that far gone.
