The Biden-ing of Donald Trump
August 20, 2024 at 1:30 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard

John Heileman: “Political journalism has always struggled to fully capture or cope with Trump when he’s lost the plot—and it’s struggling mightily now. The standard recourse is to embrace euphemism: to say that Harris’s rise has ‘rattled’ or ‘disoriented’ Trump or ‘knocked him off his game,’ that he’s failing to ‘drive a consistent message,’ that he’s ‘unfocused’ or ‘undisciplined.'”

“But if we’re honest about Trump’s public behavior over the past month, there’s no getting around the fact that the words and phrases above aren’t merely euphemisms or modestly inaccurate descriptions of his performances on the stump. These weasel words and phrases are well-intentioned but ultimately misleading bullshit. The Trump on display on the campaign trail in the past month isn’t disoriented, unfocused, or undisciplined—he’s dotty, doddering, demented, possibly deranged, and clearly disturbed.”

“Which is the point that Trump-watchers far more obsessive than me—coming from widely varying ideological and temperamental orientations—are now making in unison.”[

They were so happy to have negative things to say about him and they just wouldn’t quit. Never hear that about Trump. and he does these insane social media posts that would get anybody else committed to a hospital

and rescuing the left behind counties.

Nobody does that anymore. Our MSM, being the cynical folks they apparently mostly are, concluded doing good things for the USA was a sign of dementia

While being an insurrectionist, like Mr Trump, was a sign he was more self serving like they presumably are.

What else explains such utter nonsense?

Check out the video. Trump stumbles over it a few times and finally goes with "YO-sa-mite." What a nut. That was back when he was in the White House and talking about what he was doing to save the national parks. What a moron.

He did nothing except for remove protections for these sacred lands. His Project 2025 calls for privatizing and selling off our public lands.

I hate him for many reasons, but this one really ticks me off! I can't foresee anyone who is a nature lover voting for him.

Not until Trump pulls down his pants and starts masturbating on stage will there be as big a media feeding frenzy about Trump's mental deterioration as Biden's mere occasional gaffes and lack of energy produced.

Nothing about Biden's mental state has ever hinted in the slightest at a dangerously malignant, self-obsessed personality as Trump shows even when Trump is energetic and semi-coherent.
