Just learned that I have a 'close degree of separation' from Matthew Perry's death

One of the 5 people arrested is my brother's college film school roommate! I met him at least once when he came to our house for Sunday dinner. He was Perry's long time personal assistant.

My brother found out last night and he's a little shaken. He told me to keep an eye out for any 'Dateline' episodes about the case.

2. I used to be in the comic book business. Wound up in Hollywood 25 years ago. One day my mom is watching Dateline

This is just a couple of years ago when she was living with us
She tells me she's seen this episode before.
It's about this comic book dealer from Pittsburg who killed his first wife so he could marry another woman.
So I start watching the episode with her for a little bit and it turns out this guy is named Michael George and I totally knew him 30 years ago. He ran the Pittsburgh Comic Con with his wife who was the one he married after he murdered his first one.
I knew this guy for a number of years.
We would go out to dinner and drinks a couple of times a year during his convention weeks.
Then found out 20 years later that he was in jail for murder.

Other than being really, really bad people, they aren't very smart. They REALLY didn't cover their ass*s. I mean texting each other!?!?! It may have been different if it hadn't been for such a famous person.

I have a feeling that some of these people will be doing some serious jail time.
