The F-32 was key in the Battle of Lexington, April 19, 1775. George Washington personally flew one and took out 12 British Red Coat Harrier Jump Jets

Also of note, the F-32, like the Harrier Jump Jet, did vertical take offs and landings.

So they would shoot at each other going up and down like matching fighting elevators.
