19. Tim Miller from The Bulwark interviewed Jon Favreau, Obama's former speechwriter who helped write this speech.

Favreau, on YouTube, said he kept taking out that bit in an effort to "tighten up" the speech but Obama kept putting it back in. Then, when Obama did the hands thing, Favreau said he almost fell off his chair because that's something he'd never seen Obama do. It was an entertaining interview.

say that, while doing the hands shrinking in together at the same time and yelled out laughing. It was a masterpiece. It goes to show all of us (and we already know it) that Pres. Obama is smart and sharp w/ the tongue, and he certainly nailed tRUMPkoff w/ the insult, which I think will be remembered for a long time!
