Tim Walz had the line of the convention so far...

..."So while other states were banning books from their schools, we were banishing hunger from ours." I mean there have been some other great lines that perhaps cut deeper, are funnier, or more bumper sticker-ready, but his from last night so beautifully highlights the essential difference between Dems and Repubs.

...though, Hadley Duvall's is the one I will always remember.

This has been the most excellent of all the political conventions I have ever seen. It has been witty, informative, entertaining, but in many cases, incredibly moving.

It gives me hope that our national Demon, he who must not be named, will fall into a kind of oblivion derived from contempt.

Hammer this stuff, I'd like to think the majority of Americans are in favor of this, but after the rise of tfg, I've obviously been disappointed in them.

Forward!

Caught Tim’s speech and there was something in there that he said relating to his time of being a coach where they said if they give you a playbook, they follow it. That was said when he referenced the project 2025 humongous book they had shown us with a 900 plus pages. Basically saying you dumb fucks, they’re telling you what they’re gonna do. They’re gonna turn this into a Hitler type operation that he did in about four months after taking power, back in the day. Knowing these assholes, they’ll probably do it half the time.

if they write a playbook they are going to use it. And on their website they made it clear they were soliciting resumes for people to help them do it. It is a very serious threat and I don't believe for a second that Trump doesn't know what it is.

I went to see her speak at Miller Outdoor theater.

I taught for 31 years at the high school she graduated
from and hear so many stories about her.

And I absolutely loved her and Sam Irvin leading
the Watergate questioning.

So yes, she was a very great stateswoman!

Thank you for the reminder.

More of a statement of fact :

“Since the end of the Cold War in 1989, America has created about 51 million new jobs. I swear I checked this three times. Even I couldn’t believe it. What’s the score? Democrats 50, Republicans one.”

is right.
What kind of person would let a kid go hungry?
Only a truly evil person would!
Republicans hate other Americans and our country.
I would even feed a rich kid if they were hungry.
A kid is a kid.
NO ONE is going to tell me what my kids can read. Republicans want to keep their kids from a full education that's on them.
Who are the adults here? Democrats are the adults here!

It says love
It says pride
It says we are all in this together.
