I dont care who likes him. Sometimes you have to compartmentalize issues linked to complex characters,
Those 50 million to 1 million jobs by party that he mentioned last night sent folks scrambling to fact check. Guess what - go back and check from WW2.
After all the fact checking, Clinton was correct and then some
Milk the facts Dems. Milk the effin facts.

(4,671 posts)A lot of water and trauma under the GOP corporate fascist slugs' dam, and still I stayed. It will be 54 years soon after the election! I had HOPE under Obama. Then, clearly Ms Clinton was the best candidate in . 2016. DAMN TFG to the fire of 1000 suns. We'll likely never recover as a couple; but we won't go back! Ladies, bring it - FORWARD!

Even selecting other time-frames, or comparing with COVID taken out, Democratic administrations are ahead. Maybe not 50 to 1, but consistently better.

(114,658 posts)Trump added twice as much to the national debt as Biden: Analysis
https://thehill.com/business/4736740-trump-biden-fiscal-policy-deficit/
By the numbers: Trump added $8.4 trillion in borrowing over a ten-year window, CRFB finds in a report out this morning.
Biden's figure clocks in at $4.3 trillion with seven months remaining in his term.
If you exclude COVID relief spending from the tally, the numbers are $4.8 trillion for Trump and $2.2 trillion for Biden.

Years ago, I put together a list of 15 economic indicators from FDR through Obama. Then equally rated each one and graded on a curve.
All the As went to Dems, as did all of the Bs. Carter was the only Dem to get a C, but there was zero daylight between Carter and Reagan.
All the Ds went to Repubs and the one F went to W. I am sure if I did it today, adding The Shitstain and Biden, we would see one more F and one more A.
Amazing how perception is the exact opposite with Repukes.

(8,252 posts)college the first time and then later on how my son felt when I got my Masters degree.
It was Bill Clinton that helped make that possible. He increased child care subsidies by 70%. I was able to go to college full time because I could put my child in daycare.
Giuliani claims he turned NYC around and there was less crime, because of stop and frisk. It was during the Clinton years. Because of prosperity, because more jobs and because people like me could go to college.
From teen mom to where I am now - I am not rich. I make a pretty good living. Started my own business this year. I'm living in my own home. It's not paid off yet. But it's my 2nd home purchase.
I can't say all this would have been possible without the child care subsidies I received.
It's been paid back and then some, given the income tax and sales tax I have generated since that time. It's good to invest in people. Democrats understand that.

(13,431 posts)I thought he was a great president and I was so pissed off with the BS impeachment. I worked in a business man's world and I knew about all their affairs and was propositioned myself. In those days you shrugged it off and went on. I hated it but did not ever consider holding their dalliances against their job performances. He was a weak man but a strong president.

(5,351 posts)with Madeline Albright, her telling an interviewer about a meeting she had with then President Clinton. She said she had been quite cross with him because she was trying to brief him on something important, and he kept working on the NY Times crossword puzzle while she was talking. She called him on it. She said in response he repeated back to her everything she had said previously. Then he showed her the completed crossword puzzle done in pen. She said she'd never seen anything like that before.
He truly is a genius.
Yes I know a few folks like him 😀

I guess the guy thought everyone was as low-life as him, and would steal it from his rear pocket.
