I am behind in the DNC speeches

because I had to get up earlier than I am used to, so didn't want to stay up too long.

I just watched Bill Clinton's speech. OMG, he has always made me laugh so much. When he said, VP Harris, if elected would be the only President to spend more time in McDonald's than he did, I laughed so loud the dog jumped up, and gave me a head tilt. The Hannibal Lecter joke was excellent too.

It reminded me of one time my Mom and I were watching something and the network broke in for a joint news conference between Bill Clinton and Boris Yeltsin. Some reporter asked Yeltsin something, and he replied, "I will not answer because is stupid question." President Clinton got laughing an couldn't stop. Yeltsin asked him why he was laughing, and Clinton replied, "because you can talk to them like that, but if I did I'd be in a whole bunch of trouble." Then they were both laughing. My Mom turns to me and says, "this is the most entertaining press conference I have seen in my life."

I know Clinton had personal faults like everyone does in some way, but I can't help still loving his sense of humor, and rembering him as a damn good President!
