The draft-dodging republicon Felon needs to be made to eat his words. He's unfit for service, unfit in all respects to be Commander in Chief.

His demeaning of America's war dead, wounded warriors, veterans, and Medal of Honor recipients -- was the Most Cowardly Scumball Insult of all time.

And the republicons (except Kinzinger) are all fine with their shirking leader trashing America's war heroes. The shameful silence of the G.O.P. is their seal of approval on the disrespect and bad mouthing of the Americans who sacrificed to serve the nation. Not a peep of concern from them and their trained media spokespuppets.

I never imagined the republicon party could stoop so low. Shame on the lot of them.

I think she is priming Trump for the debate. She knows Trump is a reactionary, so she is goading him into making a fool of himself, and self destructing at the debate. So Trump is now really mad at her, and he has until the debate to stew. His responses to the convention have been laughably dumb, like a second grader denying something happened. All she has to do now is keep poking at him, and he will get crazier..

it's a sad commentary on the electorate that people found that charming, persuasive, or enticing. one of my theories about TCFSF's ability to grow his cult is that most if not all of them only knew him from the TV show. I'm sure many people watched his show (I never did) and were not sucked into the cult, but millions of others had apparently bought his act hook line and sinker.

i also think there are at least 2 distinct categories of people who will vote for him: the diehard true believing, brainwashed cult, and the rich, cynical megalomaniacs and oligarchs who are only there for their own enrichment. Propaganda built the former, late stage capitalism the latter (the group i personally hold in the greatest contempt). At the end of the day it is bigotry that binds them, the twisted belief that life is a zero sum game, the fear of being made redundant that inspires their hate.

none of it actually makes sense to me. I have empathy and love. I am a Democrat, a progressive feminist, an anti-racist, and a humanist. I respect you until you prove you do not deserve respect. I don't believe that the ends justify the means.

This candidacy makes it okay to be who I am again. The shoe is on the other foot. Nine fucking years living under the cloud of this insane person.
