1. He'll be an a-hole till his final days

I'm glad he fumed out, he won the temporary admiration of my relatives living in FL, probably because he was young and brash. That works best with low-info folks, like my family, sorry to say.

But that presentation, for all its assumed advantages, falls apart quickly with any perceived loss. So between the horrible showing in the GOP primary and ongoing turmoil with oh-so-rich Disney Corp, this guy is done! I think I might even dislike his wife even more than him.

into golf courses! For fat, lazy, privileged elitist a$$holes. I’m positive this idea came to fruition on some mother-trumping golf course hole!

LePage, no curse words strong enough, starved the state parks because he thought it was wrong for the state to compete with private campgrounds and resorts. The damage done to the park service is still evident.

I remember seeing all of these in a single day one time, way back when.
Bald eagles visit, too, now.
The shore was covered one day with two kinds of crabs, i can’t remember the other type. I have pictures somewhere. What a glorious place.

One of the features there is Hobe Mountain, a large sand dune.

It’s only 100 feet tall so it’s a pretty modest “mountain”, but still the tallest natural spot in South Florida and home to tortoises, burrowing owls and scrub jays.

This plan would literally turn it into a golf course feature.

It’s like a Carl Hiaasen or Tim Dorsey novel, but real.

10. It wouldn't surprise me if slimy Rick Scott opposes this.

Scott is going to be in a close race and DeSantis is a lame duck. This is a VERY unpopular plan across political lines here. Once the news media started covering the issue the protests began. Hopefully Desantis won't have his private state guard shoot anybody.
