Trump is anti-military and anti-veteran. His team is trying to counter that perception. I think that Trump is realizing that he might lose to Harris, so he might actually be listening to his advisors more. This whole staged appearance at Arlington is designed to cover up Trump's real contempt for the military. I don't think that it is Trump's idea. I don't think that in a million years he ever would have thought to go to Arlington and lay a wreath. The whole thing is staged. It is troubling because it may appeal to low information voters who don't understand that Trump could care less about our veterans.

Because in Trumpworld, nothing shows that Donny loves the troops more than him using a military cemetery as a backdrop for some grinning thumbs up photos.

The strong armed the woman who is in charge for the use of Arlington and apparently pushed her aside. That Cheung guy is smearing her calling her mentally ill. This is one massive goddamn nightmare.
