You know who they are.
And he expects to call in that favor.
They have kept him out of prison so far.

70+ million people voting for a rapist-fraudster-pedo-traitor to be god-king repeatedly certainly makes the "how is it possible" question much more legitimate than a mere media fantasy.

Even if the media were somehow gaming the tightness of the race (and it's conspiratorial nonsense to think the vast majority of polls are rigged) how can you not be aware how much strange-but-true Trump support is out there in the world?

It would be a screaming horror if as few as one out of three voters supported Trump... and I assure you, Harris won't win 66-34.

watching and thus ad revenue.

Here's an example although a bit tangential. Yesterday I tuned into Ari Melber's show. He was talking about youth vote. He started out with apples to apples comparisons (under 30, same source) from Obama in 2008 to Biden in 2020. Then for Biden and Harris in 2024, big switch to under 35 demographic and two different pollsters.

What you see in the media is a heavy reliance on polling averages, but it's never explained if the average is all polls, which includes a lot of stale data, or rolling average (old data drops off as new data is added) or something like 538's model where they adjust data or where the same respondents are continually polled like, iirc, Morning Consult does.

I'm in PA and the last 4 polls out of the state have shown Harris with about a 4 pt lead, but when you watch cable news, they promote the idea that her lead is around 1 pt.

Ignored at our peril. Just ask Hillary.

In the USA, it’s not enough to win the most votes. You also have to win their distribution.

An example- About a week after J6, I was visiting my MAGA parents. I steer far away from politics these days with them. Totally unprovoked, my step-mom says, “The crowds that were there were Antifa. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it.”

I mean, wow.

Easily manipulated, gullible marks who have no ability or desire to look into facts.

Harsh? Maybe.

True? Definitely.

We’re in the fight of our lives.

I always remind myself, 1/3 of the country is Republican and will always vote Republican. 1/3 is Democrat and will always vote Democrat. 1/3 of the country is a mix of either entirely not caring, or middle grounders. Those are the majority of people we're actually spending bajillions of dollars on trying to get them to care and vote. It's weird that the people who care the least end up counting the most.

Polls are skewed to influence voters and gain exposure. Most pollsters are biased and looking to have their results touted There's no way cheato is doing as well as they say but poll results will make it look close so we buy more poll results. You have to look really closely at where, when and how they weight who they poll to see how accurate a poll is.
