Can't really debunk the man as he obviously exists. Does your wining your argument rely on demonstrating sloppy or biased journalism, or something else?

But the argument I was having was with a smarter casting person who obsessed on CIA influence in American mainstream journalism -- which is incontrovertible, but involves a good bit of cherry picking.

This was from over a year ago and to your point about Twitter the disingenuous and dubious claims Musk and Taibbi made back then seem mild compared to what it has become. Dis/misinformation and just pure hate speech is off the charts now. On a plarform that already skewed right..
