A new USA Today/Suffolk University poll finds Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump nationally among likely voters, 48% to 43%.

“The findings reflect an eight-point turnaround in the presidential race from late June, when Trump had led President Joe Biden in the survey by nearly four points.”

“The vice president’s small lead was fueled by big shifts among some key demographic groups traditionally crucial for Democrats, including Hispanic and Black voters and young people. Among those with annual incomes of less than $20,000, in the biggest change, a three-point Trump edge over Biden in June has become a 23-point Harris advantage over Trump in August.”

8. Labor Day

polls will give us a better idea of where the race is. My concern is after the election. Will trump encourage his followers to do a Capitol attack again? Will his hand picked election board members not certify the election? Will he take it to the courts which are hand picked in trump's favor?

9. It's still a sad commentary on our country that anyone close to that percentage would support Dump the dictator.

I hope the polls are wrong and he's much further behind than that. Otherwise this country still has a mass brainwashing illness.

10. I would love to see 20% to 30% leads in key battleground states by the time early voting begins,

and 30% to 40% leads by election day. Perhaps even some non-battleground states with 60% to 70% leads. Can you imagine, 80% Harris, 17% Drumpf, and 2% write-in brain worm in YOUR state?

If we had an educated electorate, the margin would be more than 99-1 because people would vote for their interests.

I say more than 99-1 because even among the oligarchs there some empathetic decent people who are not totally consumed with greed.
