That is, in essence, what Dana Bash had the nerve to ask the VP.
All this BS about how important doing an interview with the news media is to help people understand her policy position on things and instead we got a dump truck full of bullshit. The news media completely validated why they are being ignored.
Vice President Harris: Same old tired playbook. Next question please
Q: That's it?

(31,350 posts)i wish Kamala had said, "And you wonder why I don't sit for interviews." or "Do you think that statement makes sense or has any validity whatsoever? Do we not have more important things to discuss?"
FFS Bash should be embarrassed.

(671 posts)Lots of blonds over thirty there.
Sweden too when I visited.
My mother-in-law is of Swedish & Polish descent (2nd generation) and was blond until she went grey well after thirty.
Just my experiences.

(58,374 posts)Or Sweden. Or Poland. She's a bottle blonde, like Trump and Ivanka.
I live in North Dakota. Plenty of natural age 30+ blonds here with the Scandinavian heritage.

(58 posts)She was waiting for that BS question (or something similar) and, like the brilliant attorney she is, she was prepared. Just because the media decided to treat tfg's idiocy like it is normal politics doesn't mean she has to. Or the rest of us either.

having to ask such an insulting question. This is what weve been reduced to.

(1,791 posts)Bash got her ass handed back to her more than once, from the clips I've seen. Good. It's time Dems started hitting back in these interviews. They go low, we kick them in the teeth.
Just from what I've seen -- and the moaning on CNN -- Harris beat the crap out of Bash and so did Walz. They handled every question I've seen with grace and concise, hard-hitting answers.
Once again, we own the narrative. The best Trump has is something about wind power stopping people from eating bacon. And Stefanik screeching about how Harris is an insult to all women. Well, I'm not insulted. I'm damned proud of her and even saying she'd put a Republican in her cabinet hasn't changed that. I guess this is that Adam guy's payback. Urgh.

(2,218 posts)What I have come to realize is that nearly all TV pundits know less about civics and current events than informed citizens. What they do know is how to fix their hair, apply makeup, read from a teleprompter and sound as if they know what they are talking about.

(60,429 posts)I have to throw Donald Trump a bone here, so if you dont mind, Im going to be a stupid Republican for a moment.
And Harris answered with: Go ahead, make a fool of yourself if thats what youve been told to do. Im under no such obligation.
