American-Israeli hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin was confirmed dead by his family early on Sunday morning, after his body and the body of others were retrieved from Gaza by the IDF.
“With broken hearts, the Goldberg-Polin family is devastated to announce the death of their beloved son and brother, Hersh." The Goldberg-Polin family announced.

It was so encouraging to see the video of him alive in April. I couldn’t imagine how he survived with his arm blown off. Hersh seemed to be so vibrant and cheerful. His parents fought so hard for him - and now this. God bless him and his parents.
