editorial. As on commenter said, the editorial board must be living in a cave.

Here is a typical comment to that opinion piece:

“WAPO's editorial board has way too much time on its hands. Anyone with a brain and a set of eyes and ears knows the difference between Harris and Trump. It's real simple: Do you want to retain our democracy or not?”

4. It can be so very hard to tell them apart. Sure, Kamala is a mature public servant

while Donald is an old guy with a history of cheating other people and looking out only for himself; Kamala used to prosecute sexual crimes but Donald sexually assaulted women and yukked around with his infamous friend who procured children for wealthy pedophiles; Donald has a string of felony convictions for fraud, steals public records, and incites violence, whereas Kamala doesn't --- but how can we tell them apart? I mean Donald used to spray-paint his face day-glo orange but I've been confusing the two of them every since he's been applying less

5. What I read seems to be a fair assessment. Would hope trumpsters read more articles/opinions like this.

"Though specifics are light, Ms. Harris is plotting a wiser course. She is right to emphasize boosting housing supply, the key to lowering housing costs, and to propose enhancing effective anti-poverty programs such as the child tax credit and the earned-income tax credit. Unlike Mr. Trump, she acknowledges the fact of climate change, does not threaten Justice Department independence and seeks robust protections for reproductive rights. Mr. Trump, meanwhile, is offering a far less appealing domestic plan, focusing on illegal immigration, tariffs and ending the green energy transition, and rightly lamenting illegal immigration without offering solutions to the problem.

"On foreign policy, Ms. Harris has drawn perhaps her clearest differences with Mr. Trump. She has applauded Mr. Biden’s work to strengthen U.S. alliances such as NATO, promised to stand with Ukraine and defended emphatically America’s traditional leadership role in the world. Mr. Trump’s vice-presidential nominee, Sen. JD Vance (Ohio), shares the former president’s neo-isolationist worldview. Trump’s choice of Mr. Vance suggests he would continue to challenge traditional alliances while going easy on rivals such as Russian President Vladimir Putin."

the pathetic attempt at a hot job on Walz by Kathleen Parker (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/08/30/tim-walz-half-truths-record/). There might be a paywall.
I've subscribed to the Post for more decades than I like to count out loud, and I've steadily watched it deteriorate. It has yet to reach the depths of the NYT, but I think that is only because of the journalists there fighting against the downhill spiral.

10. She's one of several WaPo writers I don't bother to read because she is the queen of drivel.
