There have to be at least a dozen people who know who it is. The fact that no one is talking seems to infer that it is someone who is important to TFG's campaign.
Another reason might be that no one in the press seems to be pressuring the campaign to release the name.
How do we find out if Kaine received the copy of the incident report that he requested?

Capture from a police video showing Lewandowski, while working as Donald Trump's campaign manager, grabbing the arm of Michelle Fields, a former Breitbart reporter.
Reporter Encounter with Trump Entourage and Secret Service Exit Path
On March 10, 2016, Michelle Fields, a reporter for Breitbart News, wrote that, after she asked Donald Trump a question when she approached him after a March 8, 2016, press conference in Jupiter, Florida, she was forcefully moved out of the way of the Trump entourage by Lewandowski as Lewandowski attempted to exit next to Trump. It was reported that Lewandowski was acting in response to a Secret Service pathway to ensure it remained open and clear.[41][42][43] On March 29, Lewandowski was charged with one count of simple battery by the Jupiter Police Department and surrendered himself to the authorities, after releasing a statement maintaining his innocence.[44][45][46]
Two weeks later, Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg said that his office would not prosecute Lewandowski. Although they believed that "there was probable cause to make an arrest" and "the facts support the allegation that Mr. Lewandowski did grab Ms. Fields' arm against her will .... the evidence cannot prove all legally required elements of the crime alleged and is insufficient to support a criminal prosecution".[47]
Grabbing of protester
On March 19, 2016, during a campaign event in Tucson, Arizona, Lewandowski drew criticism for his handling of a protester. Although a video showed Lewandowski grabbing the protester by the collar,[48][49][50] the campaign and Lewandowski denied doing so.[51][52]
2021 Las Vegas allegations
In September 2021, Lewandowski attended a charity dinner at the Westgate Las Vegas hotel. Another attendee at the dinner, Trashelle Odom, the wife of Trump donor John Odom, accused Lewandowski of making unwanted sexual advances to her during the dinner, including "repeatedly touching her, including on her leg and buttocks, and speaking to her in sexually graphic terms."[53] Odom alleged that Lewandowski "stalked" her throughout the hotel that hosted the event; witnesses said that Lewandowski appeared intoxicated.[53] In September 2022, Lewandowski was charged with misdemeanor battery in Clark County, Nevada court in connection with the incident. The same month, Lewandowski made a plea agreement in which he did not admit wrongdoing, but agreed to pay a $1,000 fine, serve 50 hours of community service, and take eight hours of "impulse control counseling"; if he fulfills the agreement and avoids legal trouble for a year, the charge against him will be dismissed.[53]

(61,033 posts)He's got a history of getting physical with people.
The person who was assaulted if probably afraid of repercussions like get harassed on the job, of getting her home swatted, which can lead to danger...what with so many trigger-happy LEOs employed in law enforcement.

is not taking up the prosecution of this case. This reminds me so much of cops interviewing a woman who has been beaten and otherwise assaulted and asking her if she wants to press charges. Dammit, that is their responsibility, not hers.
The Arlington employee was injured while in their employ. They need to clean up this mess themselves.

Even the US Army is too chicken to press charges.
Federal law was violated. Will the DOJ press charges?
Sure.
What a country.

Mr. Trump and his campaign published photos and video of the former president laying flowers and flashing a thumbs-up at the graves of Marines killed during the withdrawal from Afghanistan three years ago. Other graves are visible in the footage, including one of a Green Beret who died by suicide. The images are still online.
The core details of the former presidents controversy are difficult to dispute. Team Trump was made aware of federal laws, Army regulations, and Pentagon policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds. Team Trump apparently decided to ignore those restrictions, and according to an official written statement from the U.S. Army, when an employee who works at the cemetery attempted to ensure adherence to the rules, she was abruptly pushed aside, despite Trump campaign denials about a physical altercation......
As the story enters its second week, theres no shortage of relevant developments:
On Labor Day, Harris addressed the matter directly for the first time, accusing Trump in a social-media message of disrespect[ing] sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt. The Democratic nominee went on to say, If there is one thing on which we as Americans can all agree, it is that our veterans, military families, and service members should be honored, never disparaged, and treated with nothing less than our highest respect and gratitude.
At public events late last week, Trump talked about the controversy in ways that didnt make a lot of sense.
Fox News responded to the story by accusing President Joe Biden of skipping an event at Arlington last week. In reality, there was no special event.
VoteVets released a striking new ad in response to the scandal.
Last week, officials from the Trump campaign suggested they would soon release footage that would exonerate the former president and his aides. To date, that has not happened.
Where will the controversy go next? Time will tell, but a growing number of congressional Democrats, including Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, are pursuing the matter and seeking additional information and details about what transpired. Watch this space.
Senator John McCain handled this issue in the right way. TFG is not capable of doing the right thing
