I saw his opponent interviewed the other day on youtube and he seems like a really standup guy and has the creds to beat hawley. How red is Missouri? is it as red as texas or more like georgia / nc?

Interestingly the four states you mentioned (GA, MO, NC, TX) are all approximately 41-41-18 (R-D-I) plus or minus a percent or two, according to Pew Research polling of self-reported party affiliation.

(22,896 posts)If the 1st and 5th can turn out some blue votes, and the 2nd and 7th are less enthusiastic in their deep-red voting, Kunce could win.
The polling isn't optimistic in this regard, however.

(2,555 posts)In the 2008 election, it was very close between Obama and McCain. Missouri was, in fact, the last state that was called. And in 2012 McCaskill won a second term in the Senate.
Hawley has ZERO chance to get my vote -- for ANYTHING. And I will donate to his campaign. Crystal Quade's for governor, too, and, of course, Harris-Walz.
