Musk-backed PAC ads claim Democrats tried to kill Trump

I'm in Georgia, and notice that Youtube has been bombarded with many dispicable Trump ads, but perhaps the worst is from a PAC called the America PAC. I searched for it online to share it, but cannot find it, although I did see it was backed by Elon Musk.

In the ad, the narrator says:"They tried to end his campaign and take him (Trump) out for good," while showing the image of Trump after the assassination attempt with blood running down his face. The ad continues: "We can't stop fighting, and neither can you."

What, if anything, should the Democratic campaign do about these kinds of dangerous false narratives?

5. The shooter was a republican and there are an awful lot of republicans that are looking for

a way to get rid of Trump. I would tell them to look there first, if they want a conspiracy.

Edit to add, the fact that it was unsuccessful suggests it was probably republican.
