Win or Lose, You Realize Trump Will Run Again in 2028

I am just completely FLOORED at what he's able to get away with. And so few people try to go after him seriously and with the full fist of the law. So few people even consider scratching the "teflon" off of him so they can reach the tender underbelly he keeps so well-guarded and protected.

Once again, I find myself thinking of that old saying: "Nothing lasts forever." And I keep wondering how long it'll be before that saying FINALLY applies to the donald.

13. If he screws up this election

particularly if he causes down-ballot Republicans to lose alongside him, GOP resistance to another Trump candidacy will be much stronger going forward than it is now. He'll be seen as a loser who makes Republicans lose, even more than he already is. He will still hold on to his die-hard cult base -- but not all of it.

Look how bad his condition is now, and imagine how much worse it will be if he's still alive in four years time at 82. The court cases won't go away and he'll probably be convicted again. His condition is not going to improve, and he's not going to pick up any new support between now and 2028. He will be weaker in the GOP primaries, and might even get defeated if the Republican rank-and-file decide they're tired of losing.

If Trump loses this time, I seriously doubt that he will ever stand a chance of getting near the White House again.

If he wins, then all bets are off because we might not even have elections in 2028.
